UPDATES:

2008.04.14 Apparently there is some interest in the DBSK DVD. I have 2 of them ONE LEFT. If you have a better offer than the current going price, say now. Because there are already two people interested in it, but as of yet, the sale is not final. None left.

I've never done this before, so bear with me. I am still not sure if I can receive money via PAYPAL. (Anyone willing to try it for me? $1? I asked my CC company and they said it would work, but I've never tried it myself.) I think it works. Apparently I can't use Paypal. *time to copy the amazing halffling*

PAYMENTS:

1. I accept payments via USD MONEY ORDERS (preferred method of payment), Amazon.co.uk Gift Certificates, Items from my amazon.co.uk wishlist or any other way you can think of.
2. I am not responsible for any lost/stolen payments sent by snail mail.
3. After confirming the sale, money orders must be made within 10 (ten) days. Once received, I will try to ship them within the next 2-3 business days (Note: Friday and Saturday is the Weekend over here). If I DON'T receive your payment within this time limit, I WILL CANCEL your order and put it back up for sale. Unless, you can prove that you've actually sent it

SHIPPING:

1. Items shipped from Bahrain.
2. I cannot determine the shipping charge at the moment. It will most likely be $13 and above for a good courier or regular shipping which will be much cheaper. I'm not sure how cheap.
3. Will add insurance/faster shipping if you bear the costs.

6. I offer three kinds of shipping: EMS/Express Mail, and Normal Air Mail. Shipping charges are available here. I will weigh your order and then give you the order total.

The Match It For Pratchett website has received a message from Andrew Scheuber at the Alzheimer’s Research Trust about a motion in Parliament “to increase funding and promote further research” for the disease. The letter reads, in part:

If you’re a UK citizen, please write a letter to your MP urging him or her to sign EDM no. 1337

The House of Commons motion is called TERRY PRATCHETT AND ALZHEIMER’S RESEARCH FUNDING and it reads:

That this House applauds Terry Pratchett, who is donating $1 million to the Alzheimer’s Research Trust; notes that there are 700,000 people with dementia in the UK, a number forecast to double within a generation; notes that for every person with Alzheimer’s, £11 is spent each year on UK research compared with £289 for each cancer patient; supports the work of the UK’s leading scientists, who recently met at the Alzheimer’s Research Trust’s Network Conference in Bristol, in researching better treatments and possible cures for dementia; welcomes the campaign by Terry Pratchett and the Alzheimer’s Research Trust to increase funding and promote further research into the diagnosis, treatment and a possible cure for Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia.

Writing a real letter tends to be most effective, but if you’d prefer to do things electronically go to writetothem.com

Use your own words; it doesn’t have to be long. Just a message asking the MP to sign EDM 1337 would suffice. If you want ideas on what else you could write, check out this site or see what Terry Pratchett has to say about dementia research funding here .

A few days after sending your letter, if you have a spare few minutes, call the Parliamentary switchboard on 020 7219 3000 and ask for your MP’s office. Check that your letter has been received, ask if the MP will sign EDM 1337, and explain why you’re concerned about the underfunding of dementia research. Please be extremely polite to the researcher or secretary; they are overworked, underpaid and dedicated to helping constituents.
